- The Prop Pal needle system hire from Edwards Plant & Tool Hire is designed so that a builder’s prop locates into the needle and is locked in position once it has been wound up, unlike some of the conventional and unsafe methods used in the building trade to date.
At the other end the swivel plate has 4 holes where it can be fixed to the floorboards, securing it in position. This equals minimal disturbance to flooring and ceiling when using the jacking screw plate.
The Prop Pal needle system unit can also double up as a standard support needle by removing the swivel plate assembly, This then leaves safe locked in positioning for both props at each end.
The Prop Pal Needle system for hire only requires the removing of a single brick to pass the Prop Pal needle system through the wall.
Installation is quick and easy!
1. Prop Pal needle is passed through the hole in the wall from inside to the outside with the swivel plate resting it can be positioned and fixed to the floor.
2. A builder’s prop is inserted and pinned at required location to allow the winding up.
3. Prop and needle can be wound up to support the masonry.

You can still remove the jacking screw plate to slot props at both ends of the needle system if you want to. The versatility of Prop Pal: Using Prop Pal as a standard needle enables builders to support masonry and steel beams in a traditional manner as well as supporting walls above the floor chamber as originally designed for – In effect this gives builders a dual application for using Prop Pal.
